PROTO ROBOT is a new series of meetups for people who build robots, and #0 is the first one. Talks, live demos, beer and conversation. A community for anyone in Prague working on hardware, autonomy, robot learning or the tools around them. Bring what you're working on, show it, and see what everyone else has on the bench.

Friday 23 October, 6 to 10 pm. Free entry, registration required. Talks are in English. If you want a slot on stage or a demo table, write to us.

Program

Talks

Short talks from people shipping real machines: humanoids, cobots, drones, autonomy stacks. Twenty minutes each. Speakers are being confirmed.

Propose a talk Demos

Bring the thing itself. A table, power and a room full of people who will ask the right questions. Half-finished is fine. That's the point.

Book a table

Doors open. Grab a beer, walk the demo tables, find the people whose repo you've been reading.

Talks on stage, then demos on the floor. The exact timetable goes out a week before the event.

Hangout until 22:00. Beer and talking shop. We have a lot to discuss. And that's why robot.

We are confirming a space with room for a screen, a few tables of hardware and a fridge. The address goes out to everyone registered on Luma about a week before the event. If your workshop, lab or office could host this or a future edition, write to us.

Your data

Who. PROTO ROBOT, a community meetup in Prague. Contact: artis.ai.2049@gmail.com.

What we collect. Only what you type into this form: what you want (talk, demo, partnership, other), your email, your phone number and your message.

Why. To reply to your request and to organise the meetup: confirm a talk or a demo table, agree on details with a partner or a host. Nothing else. No newsletters, no advertising, no sharing with third parties.

Legal basis. Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.

Where it is stored. In a Google Form and its spreadsheet in the organiser's Google account (Google Ireland Ltd). Access is limited to the organising team.

How long. Until six months after the event, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted. Choose "Delete my data" in the form and send your email, or write to artis.ai.2049@gmail.com. We reply within a few days, and confirm once the data is gone. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
